Megan Rose: Welcome to the Future
I was five years old when one night while asleep in my bedroom, a flash of light appeared next to my bed. Three small grey aliens surrounded my bed. They had small mouths and only four fingers on each hand. They were making humming and clicking noises, as if communicating with each other. To my horror, I was paralyzed and taken aboard a triangular-shaped craft. They stripped me naked and began preparing for some sorrt of operation on a cold table.
I couldn’t move, but I could feel tears well up in my eyes as I looked above me and saw a tall, grey alien with a long face and large eyes. He smelled terrible, like rotten eggs, and I could feel his curiosity in me growing as he took his long, bony finger and ran it down my face. I could not tell if I was too scared to move or if I was truly paralyzed. The tall grey made his way to one end of the table, standing behind my head. Next to him was a shorter grey and he was giving him instructions.
The small grey had an instrument in his hand that emitted a red light, like a laser pointer. I learned later that this device allowed them to see through the layers of my brain. The tall grey was from the Maytra race, and they were known for placing tracking devices in the cerebral cortex of their victims. They abduct women and children for genetic experiments and hybridization, and they commonly implant tracking devices to locate the humans they experimented on.
As the small grey peered into my brain, the tall Maytra became extremely angry, starting to spit as he made strange noises, his breath smelling terrible. A feeling of anger pervaded the room and it became clear the Maytra was upset at what he saw. Unbeknownst to me, I already had a special implant placed in me as a baby—a different type of advanced technology that was used by my star protectors, members of the Galactic Federation of Worlds. The implant monitored my brainwaves, ensuring my brain would develop normally, and it was placed for my protection.
